What kind of rice to buy, whether it tastes good or not, whether it is polluted, is the most concerned issue. Rice is the main food in people's life, and every household has to buy it. Therefore, the purchase of rice should focus on smelling its smell. The sensory identification of rice quality mainly depends on watching and smelling, but people tend to ignore smelling, which is easy to be deceived. Toxic rice mixed with mineral oil and rice with aflatoxin B1 can easily be bought by four wrong families.
Look just to observe the appearance. Mainly:
1. Look at the color, whether it is pure white or light blue, whether it has luster or not, whether it is translucent keratinous rice;
2. Look at the shape, whether the particles are neat and uniform, whether the surface is smooth, whether the organization is compact and complete;
3. See if the broken rice grains and impurities exceed the standard.
4. See if there are yellow grains, mildew grains and disease spots. Although these indicators are important, they are only the appearance of rice. Only by smelling can we smell the quality of rice.
There are three ways to smell: 1. Take a small amount of ordered rice, put it in an airtight container, take it out in a warm water cup from 60 to 70 degrees centigrade for a few minutes, open the lid and smell it; 2. Take a small amount of purchased rice, put it on the palm of your hand, mouth on the hot smell of rice, immediately smell it; 3. Take a small amount of purchased rice, put it on the palm of your hand, two hands. Close and rub until it gets hot. Smell it immediately. The first is the most standard of the three methods.
Fresh and pure rice has the fragrance of rice, no odor, mildew, sour and corruption; stale rice has no rice flavor; rice mixed with mineral oil is mineral oil flavor and peculiar odor; hot and mildewed rice is mildew and sour.
